Pizza Margherita

  • Ingredients
  • for 2 people
  • 450 grams of manitoba flour (also known as American flour)
  • 250 ml of water
  • 3 grams of brewer’s yeast
  • 15 grams of salt
  • 330 grams of AGROMONTE ready to use Cherry Tomato Pasta Sauce
  • 1 buffalo mozzarella
  • Basil leaves
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVO)

1. Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water.

2. In a bowl mix the flour with salt, brewer’s yeast and water. Knead the dough.

3. Divide the dough in half and let it rise for 8 hours.

4. Flatten the dough with the hands on a slightly floured work surface.

5. Spread the pizza with the AGROMONTE ready to use Cherry Tomato Pasta Sauce. Add sliced buffalo mozzarella and a couple of basil leaves. Season with a dribble of EVO.

6. Cook in a pre heated oven at the maximum temperature for 8-9 minutes
